itSMFnz is part of a worldwide movement of ITSM professionals covering 50+ countries with over 15,000 members. All have as their primary focus the promotion of the business benefits of IT Service Management Best Practice and the adoption of these standards by the IT industry, as well as other non-IT related organisations that provide products and services to their customers. The itSMF is a not-for-profit organisation funded through membership subscriptions and commercial activities such as book sales and events.

The global aspects of itSMF are co-ordinated and driven by a Board of Management representing all national chapters and supported by an executive. This international Board meets annually.
In order to speed decision-making, a smaller Executive Board meets more frequently to drive matters of import forward, as well as conduct business by email, teleconference and net-meetings.

The main administrative functions are performed on behalf of the international community by the UK office, who also handles the financial management.
itSMF International is a separate legal entity registered in the UK.
The itSMF Online Forum is hosted and managed through our international office. The moderators to this site come from within the international board and senior members of the Forum worldwide.
The site is open to all members worldwide who may post a question, respond to a question, read responses and questions by other members and access information through the site. Post your question or request, and any one of over 14,000 international ITSM professionals may respond any time day or night.
Members can access the forum once logged in.
