We invite service management professionals and other interested parties to share abstracts for consideration for the 2020 itSMFnz Conference.
The theme for the 2020 conference will be "ABC,123. Are your Attitudes, Behaviours and Culture affecting your 2020 vision?"
We want the conversation to continue on better / new / improved ways of working but also what do we need to do, or what have you done, to get the right attitudes, behaviours and culture to drive your vision.
Bring your stories, thoughts and ideas on how you and/or your teams improved.

Have you got any lessons you’ve learned and would like to pass on? Any tricks of the trade you think others could benefit from? Maybe you’re researching a new methodology and would like to share your results, explaining how it connects to real-world examples?

Submissions should be made on the online submission form. We will review your proposal and you will be notified of our decision via email by the end of March 2019.

- Call for Abstracts Open: December 2019
- Close of Call for Abstracts: 29 February 2020
- Registration Opens: Early Bird
- Abstract Notification: By 28 March 2020
- Close of Early Registration: 31 March 2020
- Conference: 4-5 June 2020
The Fine Print
- Submissions must be submitted in English and include the names and affiliations of the presenting authors.
- Abstracts should contain a maximum of 300 words,
- itSMFnz retains the right to edit Abstracts and Biographies as necessary (in consultation with the presenter).
- All proposals must identify a lead presenter and include contact details and a brief personal profile of this person.
- All proposals need to identify any technology or special room requirements for the presentation.
- All abstracts will be reviewed by a panel made up of members of the Conference organising Committee. The Committee retains the right to accept the abstract in a different type of presentation.
- Acceptance of an abstract will be based on relative merit and the degree to which the abstract meets the aims of the programme.
- The lead presenter is eligible for a complimentary full conference registration. Any additional presenters are eligible for a discount when registering

- Have fully read and agree to the terms and conditions within this document
- Have obtained the required approval and/or funding to attend the conference
- Are available for scheduling at any time the duration of the main conference (We will take requests for specific times into account but cannot guarantee they can be accommodated)
If selected as a speaker, you agree:
- To your biography and profile picture being published (and edited if required) as part of the conference marketing material
- To your presentation slides being made available on the itSMFnz Website and Slideshare page after the conclusion of the event.
- That your presentation may be recorded and that the recording, or part of, may be made available online after the conference to members only.
- To assist with the promotion of the conference via your contacts
