“Relevance of ITSM to IT Recruitment”
About the Speaker:
John has worked in the IT Industry in the UK and NZ for the past
15 years. He has managed service functions and software development teams
centered mainly around Geospatial technologies. John is currently branch
manager of an IT recruitment agency in Christchurch. John manages the daily
operational requirements of the branch, including tactical and strategic
goals in order to reach targets for the firm. Amongst this he looks after
approximately 30 self employed contract IT professionals to various clients
across Christchurch.

About the Topic:
In considering service improvement, meeting goals and building
the business it is vital to understand and lock down the many processes that
make a business tick. There are factors that determine or support good
business practice and successful growth. Discovering what they are is
sometimes a bit of a journey and what is uncovered is not necessarily what
you had in mind.
