Membership Types

There are a number of different membership categories, each offering a tailored range of benefits. The most appropriate category is dependent upon company size and type.

The itSMF New Zealand currently offers the following membership categories:

Individual Membership

Professional membership is designed to meet the requirements of professional service management individuals who fund their membership themselves. The emphasis is on facilitating access to information and communication with other IT professionals. Professional members will qualify for the core benefits described above.

Corporate Membership

Corporate Membership is designed to accommodate companies who apply service management in the effective running of their business. This membership accommodates 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 50 named participants. Each corporate member will be assigned named members according to the membership option taken (5, 10, 15, 30). The core benefits are applicable to the named participants, however free or discounted attendance can be handed to any person within the company as long as the total quota (5, 10, 15, 20 or 30) is not exceeded. The emphasis is on facilitating access to information and communication with other members involved in IT Service Management and being exposed to IT Service Management vendors.

Tertiary Membership

Tertiary Membership is designed to accommodate tertiary institutions who apply service management in the effective running of their business. This membership accommodates 5 or 10 named participants. The core benefits are applicable to the named participants, however free or discounted attendance can be handed to any person within the company as long as the quota Tertiary education organisation with up to the maximum number of named individuals.

Student Membership

itSMF offers full time students in an ITSM related course discounted membership. The benefits are the same as for Individual membership. Proof of current enrolment and course attendance is required. This membership is non-transferable.

The membership period for all memberships is: 1 April YYYY till 31 March YYYY
